Student Perception of Instruction (SPOI) -

Students will answer the following anonymous survey questions in the end-of-semester SPOI survey. Results will be available in OASIS (SSAP) approximately a week after the end of each term. Please see below the list of questions asked of students:

Rate each of the following items based on your experiences in the course.

Ratings include: Strongly Agree, Agree, Disagree, and Strong Disagree.

1. I attended and participated in class regularly (either face to face or online).
2. Excluding face-to-face class time, on average approximately how many hours did you devote to this class per week?
3. I found this course to be a valuable educational experience.
4. The instructor's expectations pertaining to course requirements were clearly defined throughout the course.
5. The instructor presented the course material clearly and effectively.
6. The instructor graded and returned assignments and tests according to the timeframe defined in the syllabus.
7. The instructors' feedback on my work was meaningful and helpful.
8. The instructor was accessible and willing to answer questions to aid my understanding.
9. The instructor showed respect for students.
10. The course materials (textbook, readings, video, Canvas Content, supplemental online learning products, etc.) helped me to achieve the course learning outcomes.
