Paramedic Program
Become a Paramedic
Seminole State's Paramedic program can help you train as a Paramedic and learn advanced life-support (ALS) procedures - the treatment of life-threatening emergencies through the use of specific techniques - as identified by the U.S. Department of Transportation, which must be performed under the supervision of a licensed physician.
The Paramedic program is level two training of Seminole State's Emergency Medical Services certificate program and builds upon skills learned in the EMT program.
Upon Completion of Program
- Students will earn Seminole State's Paramedic Technology College Credit Certificate and become trained as a Paramedic.
Licensure and Certification
- Graduates may take the NREMT (National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians) Certification Exam to become a licensed paramedic.
- If you choose to become licensed in multiple states or practice in a different state, visit the NREMT website to view individual state licensing requirements.
